We are lucky Nick has the passion to put this out. Skate videos that show the behind the scenes of your favorite clips are like that missing puzzle piece and it only adds to the hype train. Even though some of these clips have been used, you get to see everything else that was going down on a trip that produced historical footage, and in a certain sense it feels completely brand new to see the clips again in a different light. Sometimes a clip might even hit harder in this setting! One thing is for sure, tour edits are where the random homie clips that don't make into videos get to shine. It scratches a special itch in a skateboarder.
Also with instagram just bombarding you with clips day in and day out, it's probably even harder to remember individual clips you've seen, besides that boardslide of course. I've always been into side lore, B-sides, and directors cuts . . this like all of that put together but in skateboarding form. Seeing everything in a kind of linear way as compared to seeing the single clips spread across different video parts is a night and day difference. Nick has done a proper job repurposing for sure, we're looking forward to what's next! There's gotta be tons of gold on this man's hard drives.
